About Us
Heritage Networks (originally known as Patriot Systems) was started by veteran Brian Ervin in 1997. Brian brought his IT experience from both the US Army and the commercial world together, to provide mission critical and proven solutions. Originally founded in Troy Michigan, Heritage Networks is now based out of Lapeer, and continues to service Southeast and Mid Michigan.
Meet the team
BRIAN ERVIN
Brian is the owner and founder of Heritage Networks, and has worked in IT since the mid 1980’s. Starting with the US Army’s AUTODIN network, Brian eventually moved into the private sector of networking solutions in 1997. He lives in Lapeer Michigan with his wife Barbara and their 2 very spoiled dogs, and enjoys reading a good book next to a warm fire with family whenever he gets the chance.
JACOB ERVIN
Jacob is the Projects Manager and Lead Technician for Heritage Networks. Starting as a part time technician for the company in 2014, Jacob transitioned into a full time position in early 2020 and has dedicated his professional efforts to the company since then. He lives in Lapeer Michigan with his wife Kristyn, and enjoys restoring classic cars plus studying Craftsman architecture in his leisure time.
